Welcome to Utrecht Minneapolis!
Hello, my name is Jerry Stillman I am the manager of Minneapolis Utrecht located at 1601 Hennepin Avenue. I have been working at Utrecht for 7 years.
I did both my graduate and undergraduate education at the University of Minnesota in printmaking. I also watercolor and oil paint.
We are located just across from the Basilica of St Mary about a block north of the Walker Art Center.
Utrecht Minneapolis is a full service art supplies store carrying products from hundreds of national brands. You’ll find we stock 99% of what is listed in our catalogue and website with the addition of certain items not found in either such as Schimcke pastels and various papers and paints.
All our associates are practicing artists and are either attending or have graduated from college art programs. Our assistant manager Bill Webb is a U of M grad and paints with acrylics, Emily Smith, an MCAD grad, is known for her fine jewelry. Oakley Tapola is currently a painting major at the U. Our newest employees, Tim Webster is a grad of the Art Institute of Chicago and Jake Dwyer is currently a student at MCAD. In all, we have 8 very talented artists working at our store!
